On July 20, USCIS announced an update to their Policy Manual to help applicants for adjustment of status identify if they could be barred from adjustment based on a finding that they are likely to become a public charge. The update is intended to provide the needed information to applicants so they can respond accurately to the questions regarding the public charge ground of inadmissibility on Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, and prevent Requests for Evidence.
More information regarding the update can be found here.
