Jamilah Kinobe

EMEA Immigration Manager

Jamilah has collaborated in various immigration projects across the EMEA region and has worked in-house as well as in client-facing roles for multinational companies in various industries, including IT and ‘Big Four’ Accounting and professional services. 

Jamilah has a broad background in corporate immigration and personal experience as an assignee having lived and worked in both Africa and the United Kingdom.

Jamilah has supervised immigration operations, deployed effective mechanisms to track compliance, conducted training, and implemented process improvement initiatives. She has also contributed to in-house immigration publications for corporate clients and was recently recognized by CEO East Africa Magazine as a rising talent.

As the EMEA Immigration Manager at Erickson Immigration Group, Jamilah advises corporate clients regarding immigration processes, liaising with various stakeholders to oversee a portfolio of global work permit applications, ensuring compliance for the wider region.

BA Law and Criminology, Keele University, United Kingdom
Professional Diploma in Corporate Governance, ICSA

Community Involvement:

Jamilah has participated in a UK university career mentorship scheme, mentoring pre-graduates.

Jamilah is also an advocate for SAFE, a child protection charity in Uganda. (https://safechildug.org)

Outside the Office:

Jamilah likes travel, the arts and spending time with family and friends.
