Czech Republic | Russian Nationals Refused Entry

Authorities in the Czech Republic have announced that Russian Nationals holding a valid Schengen visa and traveling for tourism, sport, or culture will be refused entry to the Czech Republic from October 25, 2022.

In February, the Czech Republic stopped issuing visas for Russians, except on humanitarian grounds. It had continued permitting tourists with Schengen visas issued by other countries within the travel zone.

The Czech Republic joins its Baltic neighbors in issuing a ban on Russian tourism.
