The new “talent R visa” will be available to residents of the nine mainland cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong SAR-Macau SAR Greater Bay Area (GBA) to enter Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR.
Eligibility
- GBA applicants must meet one of the required six categories to be eligible for the new visa, including “Excellent talents” and individuals with specialized talent in scientific research, education, health, the law, and other qualified talents as determined by the government.
- Eligible applicants can request travel endorsements for visits to Hong Kong SAR or Macau SAR for up to 30 days, with validity periods of one to five years.
