Research completed by Pew Research Center found that the US has the largest college-educated immigrant population in the world. Further, the percentage of immigrants in the US that have attained college-level education is lower than countries like Sweden, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and Israel despite the US having the greatest total number. The study also found that immigrants are just as likely to have a college education as a US-born individual, and that likelihood varies depending upon the region of the world from which the immigrant comes.
