USCIS annouced that individuals who have received deferred action under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program may file Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, online. Currrently, online filing is only available for renewals. Individuals who have previously been granted DACA also must file Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, which is also available for online filing.
The transition to online filing for DACA renewal requests is consistent with USCIS’s overall effort to expand the availability of online filing since 2017. USCIS will continue to accept paper versions of these forms by mail.
