US and Ecuador Sign Open Skies Agreement

The State Department announced the US and Ecuador signed an Open Skies Agreement on November 16. The bilateral agreement enables the expansion of passenger and cargo flights between Ecuador and the US, promoting increased travel and trade, job opportunities, and economic growth. The agreement will enter into force following further diplomatic agreements.

The United States has Open Skies air transport agreements with more than 130 partners.
