Update: Israel Delays Entry for Vaccinated Business Persons

On June 20, Israel announced that as of July 1, all vaccinated travelers would be able to enter the country without an entry permit.

However, following a recent uptick in cases of the Delta variant, the Ministry of Health is delaying the entry plan for vaccinated tourists and business travelers until at least August 1, 2021.

All inbound foreign nationals are still required to apply for pre-entry approval.

Foreign nationals from regions with high COVID-19 infection rates, including Argentina, Brazil, India, Mexico, Russia, and South Africa will not be allowed entry.

It is expected that in the next few weeks, the Ministry of the Interior will provide detailed regulations related to which vaccines are approved and which countries will be denied entry.
