Israel Ends the COVID-19 Pre-Entry Permit

The Israeli Ministry of Interior announced on June 20 that as of July 1, 2021, all vaccinated travelers will be able to enter Israel without any need for a pre-entry permit. More information is forthcoming regarding approved vaccines and banned-entry countries. Effective immediately, “SEA” work permit holders do not need a pre-entry permit. They can present a copy of the SEA work permit.

From June 20 to July 1, all arriving foreign nationals are required to apply for pre-entry approval. An entry ban continues for foreign national travelers from Argentina, Brazil, India, Mexico, Russia, and South Africa.
