UK Replaces Universal Jobmatch

The UK government announced earlier this month that it will be replacing Universal Jobmatch, the advertising hub utilized by UK recruiters and Tier 2 licensed sponsors to hire non-EU nationals. The new “Find a Job” portal is expected to launch on Monday, May 14. While only basic information from existing accounts will be transferred to the new service, current Jobmatch users will continue to have access to the portal until June 17, 2018. After that date, all job applications, advertisements, application history, and applicant information will become inaccessible. EIG, therefore, recommends all current applications and information related to active labor-market searches (such as screenshots) be downloaded prior to the shutdown.
