Travel Ban on Chad Citizens Lifted

Effective April 13, citizens of Chad are no longer subject to President Trump’s travel ban and can now apply for all US visa categories. Chad was originally placed under the ban due to its inability to provide copies of its passports for Homeland Security to review, and nationals were unable to apply for business or tourist visas. The State Department stated that Chad “has made significant strides and now meets the baseline criteria” for removal from the list.
