From February 2022, the Netherlands authorities will require proof of vaccination and vaccine booster. The booster must be recorded on the applicable vaccination card or certificate. As part of this change, the Netherlands is reducing the validity of vaccine certificates to 9 months, down from 12 months.
Travelers who don’t meet these requirements will have to follow additional entry protocols, including testing.

The European Union Commission has suggested that vaccination certificates should be valid for only nine months but still recommended that the EU members create a shared standard for vaccination certificates and make a joint decision.
