Thailand Reopens to Vaccinated Travelers

From November 1, fully vaccinated travelers from low-risk countries will be able to enter Thailand without a quarantine requirement.

Travelers from 46 countries and territories will be permitted: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bhutan, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the U.K., the U.S., and Hong Kong.

What to Expect
  • Permitted travelers would test on arrival at hotels and other accommodations, instead of at the airport.
  • Travelers will need to provide a negative PCR test before departing and test on arrival.
  • Travelers from countries not on the list will be allowed entry but must quarantine 7 days for air travelers and 10 days for travelers by sea.
  • It is expected that Thailand will expand the list of permitted countries on December 1 and January 1.
