Thailand Extends Emergency Declaration

On May 25,  the government of Thailand extended the Declaration of an Emergency Situation in all areas of the Kingdom for two additional months, effective from June 1 to July 31, 2021.

What’s Changed
  • The issuance of certificates of entry (COE) has been suspended for all foreigners traveling to Thailand from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Pakistan.
  • As of May 29, 2021, all foreign nationals living in Thailand affected by the COVID-19 crisis will be granted a 60-day visa extension.
