The Spanish Government has extended the current entry restrictions for travelers through to May 15, 2022.
What to Expect
- Travelers from EU/EEA countries can enter Spain without restriction with either proof of having received an approved vaccination within the last nine months, proof of recovery from COVID-19 within the last six months, or negative COVID-19 test results performed within 72 hours for a PCR test and 48 hours for a rapid antigen test.
- Travelers from third countries can enter Spain only if they have received an approved vaccination within the last nine months or have proof of recovery from COVID-19 within the last six months.
- Travelers under the age of 12 can enter Spain with negative test results.
As many countries begin to lift all requirements, Spain is one of the few countries in Europe to maintain these entry requirements. Still, as COVID-19 continues to evolve, guidance from government agencies and health advisories is subject to change.
