The Government of Slovakia announced new changes to the country’s entry rules, to go into effect on February 4.
Key Highlights
- Slovakia will no longer group or categorize countries based on their epidemiological situation related to COVID-19.
- Individuals who recovered from COVID-19 or are fully vaccinated will not need to quarantine upon arrival.
- The mandatory self-isolation period has been shortened from 10 days to 5 days.
- Consistent with the EU, Slovakia will also consider the vaccination documents valid for nine months.
- All persons who have completed their immunization process and those who have recovered from the virus are required to register in the eHranica system every six months.
