Singapore Updates Global Travel Guidelines as the Country Reopens

The Government of Singapore updates global travel guidelines as the country reopens to more international travel.

Category I | Hong Kong, Macao, Mainland China, and Taiwan
  • Work Pass Holders:
    1. From November 1, 2021, all pass holders from these countries/regions must be fully vaccinated before arrival. For more details, please refer to the vaccination requirements.
    2. Take on-arrival COVID-19 PCR test at the Singapore checkpoint.
    3. Proceed immediately to self-isolate in approved accommodations until they get a negative test result
      1. If tested negative, they can go about their activities in Singapore, without a need to serve SHN.
Category II | Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bhutan, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Fiji, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Sweden, Turkey and Vatican City

Fully vaccinated work pass holders departing from Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) countries/regions listed below may enter Singapore without Stay Home Notice if they apply to enter Singapore via the VTL instead of the WPHL.

Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) Countries/Regions: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, The Republic of Korea, The United Kingdom, and The United States of America

Work Pass Holders:

  1. Take a COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction test (COVID-19 PCR test) within 48 hours before departure at an internationally accredited or recognized lab/clinic/medical facility.
  2. Serve a 7-day SHN in an approved accommodation.
  3. Take a COVID-19 PCR test ($125 including GST) on Day 7 of SHN.

 

Category III | Cambodia, Egypt, Estonia, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Qatar, Rwanda, Samoa, Seychelles, Slovenia, South Africa, Tonga, UAE, and Vietnam

Work Pass Holders:

  1. Must be fully vaccinated before arrival.
  2. Take a COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours before departure at an internationally accredited or recognised lab/clinic/medical facility.
  3. Serve a 10-day SHN at the place of residence or suitable accommodation (e.g. hotel or serviced apartment).
  4. Take a COVID-19 PCR test ($125 including GST) on Day 10 of SHN.
  5. [Only for pass holders who were vaccinated overseas] Take a serology test at a Public Health Preparedness Clinic to confirm their vaccination status within 14 days of completing SHN.
Category IV | All Other Countries/ Regions – Including countries that were previously banned

Work Pass Holders:

  1. Must be fully vaccinated  before arrival.
  2. Take a COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours before departure at an internationally accredited or recognised lab/clinic/medical facility.
  3. Serve a 10-day SHN at an SHN dedicated facility (SDF) ($1,450 including GST)
  4. Take a COVID-19 PCR test ($125 including GST) on Day 10 of SHN.
  5. [Only for pass holders who were vaccinated overseas] Take a serology test at a Public Health Preparedness Clinic to confirm their vaccination status within 14 days of completing SHN.
