The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) announced that effective January 1, 2019, the S Pass minimum salary requirement will be $2,300.00 SGD. The qualifying salary will be increased to $2,400.00 SGD on January 1, 2020. Former Manpower Minister Lim Swee Say emphasized that the move is aimed to protect local workers.
