Singapore and Vietnam Announce Plans for Travel Between the Countries

Singapore and Vietnam announce plans to allow for travel between the two countries. The two countries are working on a mutual recognition of vaccine certificates and testing results to build confidence towards border reopening.

From June 28, travelers to Singapore from Vietnam, and elsewhere, are required to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival and take antigen tests on the 3rd, 7th, and 11th day after arrival. This is an adjustment from the previous 21-day stay-home requirement.

Vietnam has an entry ban for all foreign nationals, with the exception of diplomats, investors, experts and skilled workers.
