Silicon Valley University is closing down after allegations of mismanagement. The university has withdrawn its Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) certification. Any current students or those employed pursuant to Optional Practical Training (OPT) through the school have until June 30 to: a) complete their program and return home; b) enroll in a different school; or c) change to another immigration status. After June 30, any affiliated OPT will be cancelled. All students impacted by this should contact SVU to further discuss their options.
