Citizens of the UAE are now entitled to obtain visas on arrival in Paraguay pursuant to a directive from the Paraguayan Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The visas can be issued for stays of up to 30 days upon paying a processing fee of $100. Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs Ahmed Elham Al-Dhaheri noted that the visa agreement was a product of the UAE’s heightened global standing and the strong relationship between the UAE and Paraguay.
