Justyna is a business immigration attorney with experience advising clients on immigrant and nonimmigrant matters across the information technology, journalism and media, engineering consulting, business consulting, financial, and architecture/construction sectors. She has successfully managed the complete execution of nonimmigrant cases (B-1, B-2, E-2, E-3, F-1, F-2, H-1b, H-1b1, H-4, J-1, Blanket L, L-1, L-2, O-1A, O-1B, O-3, TN, TD), immigrant cases (PERM, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, NIW, Schedule A, Group II, family-based petitions, special immigrant petitions, adjustment of status applications), and naturalization applications.
As the daughter of immigrants and a first-generation attorney, Justyna is passionate about assisting clients in achieving their business objectives and helping immigrants achieve their American dream. She works closely with clients to prepare each case with the utmost care and attention to detail to ensure the highest likelihood of success.
Prior to joining Erickson Immigration Group, she worked as an associate attorney for a small immigration practice for nearly four years. She also has experience as a law clerk for large- and small-sized immigration law firms, as well as a legal intern for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She earned her Juris Doctor from American University’s Washington College of Law, where she was a member of the Administrative Law Review, a Student Attorney for the Immigrant Justice Clinic, a Teaching Fellow for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, and a mentor and mentee in ADVANCE for first-generation law students. Additionally, Justyna completed the Washington College of Law Pro Bono Honors Pledge with Exceptional Service Honors, an honor that requires over 175 hours of pro bono work during law school.
