Jessika L. Thomas

Associate Attorney

Jessika has extensive work experience in university administration, software configuration, and enterprise system deployments. As a special assistant in Academic Affairs, she worked closely with the Office of International Students and Scholars to improve the orientation and provide resources for nonimmigrant visa holders. In her role supporting university strategic planning, Jessika led the formulation of an entrepreneurship center which has become internationally recognized for its comprehensive, one-stop innovation and commercialization support.

As an Executive Director in technology, Jessika managed the prioritization process for technology projects and stakeholder engagement. She stepped back from this role to work as a technology consultant for enterprise system deployments, system design, and software configurations to gain more flexibility for family.

Before joining Erickson Immigration Group, Jessika’s legal work focused on compliance and substantive law research. Following the passage of the Affordable Care Act, she worked with Human Resources to develop a new insurance benefit offering to meet requirements for stipend-based and less-than-full-time employees.
