Jesse Root (RCIC-IRB)

International Practice Project Manager

Jesse has over 6 years of experience working in Canadian Immigration as a licensed Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB). Jesse recently completed his licensure process to represent clients at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) and considers himself as a Generalist professional in Canadian Immigration based on his broad experience across almost all types of immigration applications in Canada. 

Most recently, Jesse has specialized in Business Immigration and enjoys making sure that Canadian companies have the foreign talent they need to diversify their workforces and remain competitive in the global economy.

Jesse’s passion for Immigration Law comes from his desire to make a positive impact everyday, and make sure that people have the opportunity to make Canada home!

Master of Arts in Immigration and Settlement Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University (Previously Ryerson University)
Bachelor of Social Science with Specialization in Political Science- International Relations from the University of Ottawa

Languages:

English, Spanish and Functional French

Admitted to:

Member in good standing of the College of Canadian Citizenship and Immigration Consultants (CICC).
Completed Licensure to Practice at the Immigration and Refugee Board.

Outside the Office:

Jesse enjoys playing Rugby, as well as travelling the world with his partner and is a dog-daddy to 2 English Bulldogs: Layla and Tyson.
