Israel Increases Minimum Salary Requirements

From April 1, 2024, Israel is increasing its minimum wage by 5.24%; the updated minimum wage for a full-time job will be ILS 5,880.02, compared to ILS 5,571.75 prior to the increase.

The wage increase and new minimum salary will apply to all workers, including foreign nationals with short-term employement, B-1 visa holders, and asylum and protection seekers.

What to Expect
  • New or renewed applications that are pending on or after April 1, 2024, must show the salary minimum to comply the with the new rule.
  • Applications without the April 1 salary will be rejected.
