The Israeli government will now issue B-1 work visas digitally. The digital format will apply to all types of B-1 visas, including B-1 Expert, B-1 Hi-Tech, SEA 90-day work visas, and STEP 90-day work visas.
Visa holders will still be required to process their work visa at the consulate following the approval of the B-1 Work Permit, except for the B-1 SEA visa. No other changes to the visa process were made.
Dependents who require a B-2 visa will still need a physical passport stamp with their visa.

The digital visa streamlines the application process and improves the overall convenience for employees entering Israel. Foreign nationals are still advised to maintain a physical copy of their visa with their passport when traveling.
