Ireland’s Department of Trade, Enterprise, and Employment has released the current processing times for employment permits.
The current processing times for applications are as follows:
- Trusted Partner employment permit applications: 8/9 weeks
- Standard employer employment permit applications: 13/14 weeks
- Requests for Stamp 4 Support Letters: 7/8 weeks
Applications for Employment Permits are processed in date order of receipt of the fully completed application form and fee, if applicable.
Background & Analysis
Previously, the processing times were faster and these are a significant increase. EIG advises clients to adjust any start dates for new hire employees accordingly. We will continue to account for these processing times when providing assessments to our clients.
