Ireland Requires Signed Contracts for Employment Permit Applications

Effective March 16, 2018, the Irish Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation now requires the submission of a signed job contract with an application for an Employment Permit. Both new applications and renewals will be subject to this requirement. To help streamline the application process for employment permits, we recommend that employers send EIG the relevant employment contract at the initiation stage of an application. Assignment letters will also be necessary for ICT transfers.
