Ireland and US to Extend the Working Holiday/Intern Work Travel Program

On January 27, US and Irish authorities signed a statement of intent to extend for five years the US-Ireland Working Holiday/Intern Work and Travel Program.

The program permits Irish or US citizens who are students or recent graduates to spend up to a year living and working in the other’s country.

US citizens who apply for the program to live abroad in Ireland must submit an application for a working holiday authorization along with a copy of their US passport, two recent photos, a CV, and proof of being a student or recent graduate. They must also pay a non-refundable fee and provide an original bank statement.
