A recent press release issued by India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation confirms that the Government of India has decided to resume all scheduled commercial international passenger flights effective March 27, 2022. The global operations will be subject to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in January 2022.
India suspended inbound and outbound commercial flights throughout the pandemic with exemptions for repatriation flights or bubble travel arrangements.
