2021 – 2022 EU Blue Card Quota Updates

Greece | The government has announced its EU Blue Card quota for 2021-2022, with an increase of 100 spots compared to previous quotas. In total, 380 spots are available in the Attica region, and 226 spots available across all other regions in Greece. The EU Blue Card quota is published every two years. Other work authorization categories are exempt from the quota. (Feb. 2021)

The Netherlands | The government has announced new minimum salary levels for highly-skilled migrants, graduates, and Blue Card applicants applicable to new or extended applicants on or after January 1, 2021. The new minimum salary requirement for Blue Card Holders is EUR 5567.

Slovakia | Minimum wages have increased by 7.4% to EUR 623/month. EU Blue Card holders must earn 1.5 the minimum industry average.  (Feb. 2021)
