Germany Declares the United States a “No Risk” Area

From June 13, Germany has determined the United States is no longer a risk area. Travelers entering Germany from the United States before June 23, 2021, will be considered as having entered from a ‘basic risk area,’ and will have to complete the entry registration before entering Germany.

Travelers from the United States entering Germany on June 23, 2021, or after are not required to register via digital entry registration.

Travelers from “No Risk” areas are not required to quarantine upon arrival.

All travelers to Germany, regardless of origin, must present a negative COVID-19 test result, proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination, or proof of recovery after infection.
