The Gulf Cooperation Council Approves a Unified Tourist Visa for Member Countries

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have unanimously approved a unified visa to allow visa-holders access to travel between the six countries of the GCC: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Currently, tourists must obtain a visa for each country they plan to visit within the GCC. Citizens of GCC countries can travel visa-free between the member states.

At this time, the validity period, price, and implementation timeline are unspecified.
