France to Require UK Travelers to Quarantine on Arrival

On Wednesday, May 26, France announced that travelers from Britain would have to complete a mandatory quarantine period. British travelers will have to self-isolate for 7 days and present negative COVID-19 test results taken within the previous 48 hours. The new measures are expected to go into effect on Monday, May 31.

Earlier this week, Austria announced a direct flight and tourism ban from Britain and Germany, and that any travelers from the UK would need to complete a two-week quarantine.
