The European Union updated the EU Commission’s Migration and Home Affairs website to indicate that the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) would launch in 2024. An exact date was not provided.
ETIAS was supposed to launch in November 2023. The reason for the delay has not been shared.
