England’s new travel system requirements vary depending on the traveler’s vaccination status. To qualify under the fully vaccinated rules for travel to England, travelers must have been fully vaccinated with a full course of an approved vaccine in the UK, under the UK overseas vaccination program, or in one of the approved countries and territories.
Travelers who have been in a red list country or territory in the 10 days before they arrive in England, must follow the red list rules. This applies to all travelers, whether fully vaccinated or not.
Proof of Vaccination
Travelers must be able to prove that they’ve been fully vaccinated under a vaccination program with approved proof of certification.
- the NHS COVID pass if you live in England
- the EU Digital COVID Certificate
- the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention vaccination card for US residents
- a vaccine certificate issued by a national or state-level public health authority, in English, French, or Spanish
