International Updates
Belgium | All international travelers arriving in Belgium and staying for at least 48 hours will be required to take a COVID-19 test on their 1st and 7th days in the country. Travelers can end their quarantine only if their day-7 test is negative.
Denmark | The nationwide lockdown has been extended to January 17, 2021.
The Philippines | In response to the new strain of COVID-19, as of December 30, entry into the Philippines will not be allowed for non-Filipino individuals flying in from the following countries: Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Flights from the United Kingdom remain suspended, and entry is prohibited for non-Filipinos traveling from or transitioning from the United Kingdom until January 15, 2021.
Filipinos arriving from the countries mentioned above shall be allowed to enter but will be required to undergo a 14-day facility quarantine.
Spain | The government has extended Order INT 657/2020 from July, amending the criteria for the temporary non-essential travel restrictions from third countries to EU and Schengen associated countries. These restrictions are through January 31, 2021.
The following third countries are exempted from travel restrictions: Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, China.
All travelers are subject to health checks, including temperature checks, visual screening, and document checks, consisting of the health control form. Depending on the region of origin, a COVID-19 test with a negative result taken within 72 hours before arrival may be required.
