International Updates
Australia | From mid-October, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the government would increase how many citizens will be able to return to Australia each week from 4,000 to 6,000 people.

Canada, United States, Mexico | The current border restrictions shared between Canada, the United States, and Mexico will be extended by a month until October 21.
Germany | The government has added Vienna and Budapest to its travel risk list.

Ireland | The Minister for Justice and Equality announced a further temporary extension of immigration permissions to January 20, 2021. This applies to permissions due to expire between September 20, 2020 and January 20, 2021.
The legal status of anyone who already holds valid permission in Ireland is maintained until January 20, 2021.
Additionally, Ireland has added Greece and Italy to the list of countries for which travelers must quarantine for 14 days.

Namibia | From September 18, international travel will resume after a six-month state of emergency.

The Netherlands | From September 21, a person from a country with an entry ban who makes a trip that demonstrably contributes to the Dutch economy and society may travel to the Netherlands under specific conditions. The full review of conditions is at the link.

The United Arab Emirates | Individuals arriving at the Abu Dhabi airport from abroad will have to wear a tracking device while completing their 14-day home quarantine.

The United Kingdom | From 4 AM on Saturday, travelers from Slovenia and Guadaloupe will be required to self-isolate for 14 days as they join the quarantine country list. Singapore and Thailand are now on the UK’s Travel Corridor, and travelers no longer have to quarantine on arrival.
