Finland | The government is banning public gatherings of more than 20 people. Travelers to Finland must provide a negative COVID-19 test result upon arrival and self-quarantine for 10 days.

Greece | The government is closing its land border with Albania and requiring rapid tests on all visitors at the land borders. All visitors are required to provide a negative PCR test taken within the last 72 hours.

Portugal | The government approved a 15-day extension of the current state of emergency.

Spain | In Catalonia, social gathering places will gradually reopen beginning Monday. From December 21, groups of up to 10 people will be able to gather to celebrate the holidays.

The United States | The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) advises Americans against travel for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Around the US, governors are implementing their own local restrictions. In California, from Saturday, November 21, a stay-at-home order will go into effect from 10 PM to 5 AM until December 21 for 41 of California’s 58 counties. A similar restriction is in place in Ohio.
