International Updates

Australia | In Victoria, the government will strictly enforce the isolation orders for anyone who has contracted COVID-19. The government is deploying the military and may issue fines. Earlier this week, they imposed a curfew and other restrictions on movement and business operations.

France | Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo has said she wants to make face masks mandatory in certain outdoor areas pending approval from the Paris prefecture.

Germany | The government has lifted the travel warning for four coastal provinces of Turkey, Antalya, Izmir, Aydin, and Mugla.

Oman | From Saturday, the domestic ban on inter-country travel and the nightly curfew will end. The full lockdown in Dhofar will continue.

The Philippines | With a 24-hour notice, the government has reinstated an immediate, partial lockdown in Luzon.

Switzerland | Travelers from Romania, Singapore, and Spain will now be required to self-quarantine, a decision that will add Spain to the list of countries with a higher rate of COVID-19 spread.

Turkey | Following a rise in coronavirus cases, the government has introduced new inspection and enforcement rules.
