Australia | As cases of the coronavirus increase in Australia, the state of Victoria declared a state of emergency on Sunday, and tighter restrictions are expected in Melbourne, including curfews and business closures.

Cyprus | The government has announced that all travelers from Greece would need to show a negative PCR test from within the past 72 hours to enter. Cypriots and residents can be tested at the airport upon arrival.

France | As announced last month by Prime Minister Jean Castex, travelers arriving into France from the listed 16 countries where the coronavirus rates are high must submit to a coronavirus test upon arrival or show proof of a negative test taken within the past 72 hours.

Libya | The government has reissued the total lockdown for five days in an attempt to slow the coronavirus’ spread.

Norway | Cruise ships with more than 100 people on board will not be able to disembark at Norwegian ports for 14 days.

The Philippines | The government announced a stricter two-week lockdown in and around Manila beginning on August 4.

Singapore | From August 11, travelers from a select list of countries who can isolate at home will have to wear an electronic monitoring device to ensure they are following quarantine orders.

The UK | The Home Office has published guidance extending the current COVID-19 concession provision until August 31. This means that individuals whose visas are due to expire between January 24 – August 31, 2020, can remain in the UK until August 31, and may be able to apply from within the UK to switch to a long-term UK visa until August 31.
