International Updates

Argentina | The government extended the lockdown, which began on March 20, to April 26.

Germany | Chancellor Angela Merkel and the premiers of Germany’s 16 states will hear from the German National Academy of Sciences with their recommendation for how the country could begin to loosen restrictions in place since mid-March.

Italy | The government extended the lockdown, which began on March 9, to May 3.

Russia | With increasing coronavirus cases across the country, the government is increasing restrictions. From April 13-19, all non-essential businesses and organizations are temporarily suspended. Companies that are operating must change their work procedures to allow for personal distancing and work from home.
