On May 11, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program’s (SEVP) COVID-19 guidance ended following the termination of the COVID-19 National Emergency.
- Nonimmigrant students can complete the academic year, through the summer of 2023, under the COVID-19 flexibility.
- For the 2023-2024 academic year, nonimmigrant students may only count the regulatory limit of online classes to their course of study.
- Nonimmigrant students must enroll in academic programs that comply with distance learning regulatory limits.
