China Resumes Visa Issuance for Japanese Travelers

From Sunday, January 29, China resumed issuing visas for Japanese travelers. The Chinese government temporarily suspended visa issuance to Japanese citizens on January 10, citing Japan’s COVID-related border control measures imposed on arrival from Mainland China.

Travelers from mainland China to Japan were required to present a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival. Travelers who test positive will have to quarantine for seven days. Additional information is available at this link.
