Canada IRCC announces 2024-2026 Immigration Levels Plan

On November 1, 2023, the IRCC confirmed the approved Immigration Levels Plan for 2024-2026.

  • Canada aims to welcome 485,000 new permanent residents in 2024, 500,000 in 2025 and plateau at 500,000 in 2026
  • The Plan includes new annual and progressively increasing French-speaking permanent resident targets outside Quebec: 6% in 2024, 7% in 2025 and 8% in 2026
