Effective May 1, the government of Bulgaria revoked all COVID-19-related rules for all travelers. Regardless of where the traveler is coming from, they will no longer have to present proof of vaccination, recovery, or negative test results.
From May 1, travelers to Bulgaria will only be required to adhere to the standard immigration and border measures, such as presenting a passport or visa as needed.
Bulgaria is one of 12 EU/EEA countries that have lifted their COVID-19 restrictions. Still, as COVID-19 continues to evolve, guidance from government agencies and health advisories is subject to change.
