On August 20,2025, the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has announced that holders of a Partner (provisional) (subclass 309) or Partner (temporary) (subclass 820) visa for whom two years have passed since they applied for the visa, can now submit their information for the permanent stage of their Partner visa.
Partner (subclass 309) holders can apply for a Subclass 100 Partner (Migrant) visa.
Partner (subclass 820) holders can apply for a Subclass 801 Partner visa (Permanent).
