From July 6, Australia will lift all COVID-19 border restrictions. These new guidelines follow recent changes to the Biosecurity Act.
Key Changes from July 6:
- Travelers do not need to provide evidence of vaccination status.
- Individuals entering Australia do not need to complete the Digital Passenger Declaration or Maritime Travel Declaration
- Individuals leaving Australia do not need to show proof of vaccination.
- Unvaccinated visa holders do not need a travel exemption to travel to Australia.
Passengers must still wear a mask on international flights, and travelers should know that airlines and other operators may have specific requirements to comply with. For more information on the changes to international travel requirements, visit www.homeaffairs.gov.au/covid19.
