UAE No Longer Requiring Police Clearance for Work Permits

The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFA) announced a temporary suspension of the requirement of Good Conduct Certificates (police clearance) by applicants seeking employment in the country. As of April 1, UAE consulates and embassies are now processing work permit applications for all applicants, regardless of nationality, without the need for police clearance. The goal of this suspension is to facilitate a more streamlined immigration process.
