Ireland Introduces Digital Contact Centre for Immigration Services

The Minister for Justice in Ireland has introduced the Digital Contact Centre (DCC) to enhance the immigration experience through digital self-service. This platform streamlines immigration services, making it easier for foreign nationals to manage their personal information and stay up to date with their visa and residency application statuses.

Portal users will now be able to:

  • Book and amend first-time Irish Residence Permit (IRP) registration appointments
  • Notify the Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) of changes of address
  • Update passport information
  • Update change of name
  • Monitor progress and receive updates of visa and residency permit applications in real time
  • Find answers and support for immigration-related queries

The DCC replaces emailing the ISD of such relevant changes and will enable the Department to handle queries faster and provide a more efficient service.

The portal can be accessed here.
